The SaniCubic 2 is a macerating/grinding pump that’s ideal for use throughout the entire home. Offering the following benefits, this is one of the most popular macerating pumps on the market today:
- The SaniCUBIC 2 pumps vertically up to 36 feet
- It can connect your toilet, shower, sink, bath, laundry sink, kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washing machine to one convenient unit
- It includes a single SaniCUBIC 2 macerating/grinding pump
- Additional options include a descaler, which will help clean your system and remove hard water deposits that build up in the macerator

Why You’ll Love the SaniCUBIC 2
The SaniCUBIC 2 is a pre-assembled heavy-duty duplex grinder pump designed to live up to the demands of commercial and residential sewage applications. Constructed from durable stainless steel, this grinder pump grinds solids into a fine slurry, which it then pumps up through a 1-1/2" discharge. The pump is designed to handle multiple waste fixtures for applications ranging from residential homes to, commercial buildings, schools, and even rental properties.
The SaniCUBIC 2 system is made to last: comprised of dual 1-HP motors contained inside a durable plastic enclosure that’s as compact as it is functional, this grinder bucks the norm and goes its own way. During operation, each grinder operates independently to offer a high-performance process. The fast-rotating cutting blade reduces solids expelled from toilets, tubs and showers, sinks, washing machines, dishwashers, etc., and creates a passable slurry for the pump to handle.
Worried about installation? Don’t be. The SaniCUBIC 2’s operation is as straightforward as its installation. Waste material simply enters the pump through one of five inlets. There are three along the top and one on either side of the unit. Each inlet is designed to accommodate 1-1/2" to 4" diameter pipes.
Once the waste water level reaches the system’s trigger point, the pumping system activates. The effluent is then pumped through a 1-1/2" diameter rigid pipe connected on the top of the pump. At its maximum, this pump can move effluent 36 ft vertically and/or 328 ft horizontally.
To ensure peace of mind on your part, this system comes with a 2-Year Full Manufacturer Warranty as well as an Extended 3-Year Warranty with Product Registration.
How the SaniCUBIC 2 Works
Inside the SaniCUBIC 2, there are pressure switches and a circuit board assembly. These features start and stop the unit. The unit also contains two motors, which power the pump and the cutting blades. To ensure longevity and functionality, the motors are perpetually sealed in an oil-filled enclosure to keep them from debris and friction.
A durable shaft drives the impeller and the macerator blades and all moving parts within the system are kept to a minimum. Water and organic waste matter that enter the enclosure and are reduced to a slurry, at which point they are obtained by the impeller, which is mounted beneath the motor.
Each of the SaniCUBIC 2’s grinders operate alternately. Each grinder takes turns handling waste water. This keeps use even and ensures one grinder does not wear out well before the other. If either pump ceases to operate, however, the other pump will kick in and run continuously, which gives you time to have the system serviced and eliminate ongoing problems.
The SaniCUBIC 2 also features smart-pump operation. A single pump can handle 50 gpm without overloading or struggling. If the incoming rate is higher than the outgoing rate, the pumps kick into overload stage, which ensures the second pump activates and both pumps operate at once until the discharge condition is reduced. If the system encounters a problem during this process, it will deploy a visual LED alarm on the unit, as well as an audible alarm.
Installation of the SaniCUBIC 2
On the SaniCUBIC 2 system, the effluent pipe leading into the pump must be installed with the required ¼"/foot gravity flow. For the system to operate properly, there must be a 10" height difference between the pump and the connecting fixture.
Waste water discharges into the grinder pump via five 1½-inch or 4" inlets, on either side of the housing and on the top of the enclosure. Each internal discharge pipe comes equipped with check valves, which are designed to prevent damaging backflow into the unit. Isolating valves (including the ball and gate valves) must be installed on waste inlets and on the discharge pipe. This keeps maintenance and repair safe for the system and the professional doing it.
The SaniCUBIC 2 unit is also designed with a 1-1/2" vent connection on the top of the enclosure. Plumbing codes require connection to a vent system, and this system should be a two-way air vent. The use of mechanical vents, air admittance valves and similar devices are not permitted since they are considered one-way air vent systems.
If you’re looking for a plumbing-code certified system, you can rest assured that the SaniCUBIC 2 has been certified to both American and Canadian Standards. Macerating standard; US: CSA Certified & IAPMO (UPC) listed - ASME A112.3.4, CA: Macerating Standard CSA B45.9.
The SaniCUBIC 2 is ordered as a single unit only, without additional included fixtures.
