Product Description:

The Sanishower is a system that is used to install a showerhead and sink up to 12 feet below the sewer line, or even up to 100 feet away from a soil stack. The Sanishower is small enough to fit underneath a raised shower base. It is used to pump waste away from a shower, sink, bar sink, or other fixtures.

Warranty: 2-Year Full Manufacturer Warranty

Extended 4-Year Warranty with Product Registration (www.Saniflo.com/Register)

How It Works:

The inside consists of a pressure chamber, which starts and stops the unit, and the motor, which drives the pump. When the water enters through the pump, it activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which in turn starts the motor.  The motor is sealed for life in an oil-filled enclosure.  A spindle/shaft drives the impeller; therefore, the moving parts are kept to an absolute minimum.  Wastewater enters the chamber and is pumped away into the sanitary sewer.

The unit pumps the effluent upward to 12 feet and/or 100 feet horizontally (with gravity fall).  Once the wastewater is discharged and the level in the container goes down, the micro switch deactivates the unit until wastewater enters the unit again.  A normal operating cycle can be as short as 2 - 10 seconds depending upon the discharge pipe run configuration; power consumption is therefore minimal. The discharge elbow on the side can be rotated 360 degrees to fit any type of installation required.

In addition to sinks, the Sanishower will also accept and discharge waste water from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as urinals and showers for basements. When adding the showerhead, a base will have to be constructed.  This base should be made out of a 2" x 6" (minimum) or 2" x 8" (recommended) on edge, to allow for the installation of a P-trap and the required 1/4" per foot gravity flow towards the pump unit.

The Sanishower is small enough to fit comfortably inside a kitchen cabinet or vanity or as a choice for basement showers.

Please note that there are no specific Saniflo showers. A Saniflo showerhead would be a branded shower with a pump. We can help you determine what type of product will work with your unit.
